1. How long before we see sleep improvements?

This varies depending on the method you choose. Every family is different and that's why I always listen to you and support you in however quickly or slowly you want to take it.

It also depends on consistency. The more consistent you are with the method, the quicker you will see results.

Typically, results are seen within 2 weeks or less.

2. Will crying be involved?

Crying is our baby's way of communicating with us and it's important that we listen and respond to this communication. While, yes, it's likely your baby will cry while we are making sleep improvements, your baby will never be left to cry on their own if they are distressed and you can respond to them in whichever way feels best to you as their parent/carer. My methods are always baby and parent led. I will never tell you that you must or must not do something.

3. Can I still feed my baby through the night?

Absolutely! You know your baby best and know their nutritional needs. All my methods are breastfeeding and bottle feeding friendly so if you want to continue feeding through the night our plan will work alongside that. And if you are looking to move away from feeding through the night, I can support you through that too.

4. Do I have to follow a strict routine?

No. I am a firm believer in flexibility while also maintaining a familiar routine that works for you as a family. If you have a daycare pick-up, baby class or one-off appointment I'll support you in developing a flexible routine that can work around these things while still providing a structured and reliable routine for your little one.

5. What if I'm co-sleeping?

If you are co-sleeping or room sharing and you want to keep doing that while also making sleep improvements, that's no problem! I can support you in getting a better night's sleep while still co-sleeping or room sharing. If you are looking to move your little one into their own room, I can support you through that move as well.
